Dear all,
Poppy Appeal
Thank you all for giving so generously in November. Your support raised a fabulous £1,735.59p in cash donations to support the work of the Royal British Legion, along with further cashless donations using the QR codes (the total for which we will hear from ‘head office’ in the New Year). A particular thank you to all the local volunteers who braved the weather to part you from your cash!
Volunteers
As older members of the committee have retired after many years of sterling service, we are down to a small quorum making it difficult to organise the events we historically took for granted – talks and that kind of thing. If anyone is able to volunteer to help us organise these for the benefit of our community, I would be enormously grateful. Please contact me on Richard.Nall@hotmail.co.uk.
Thank you again for your generosity,
Richard
