20 MPH – zone – update

Following our application for consideration of the introduction of 20 mph zones around the parish, OCC are now starting to look to get the ball rolling on the Phase 3 20mph schemes.

Please see attached draft proposal for Bix & Assendon 20mph scheme in line with what was agreed at the Parish Council meeting in terms of an application.

The interim symbols are the proposed locations of the repeater signs, sited to meet the spacing regulations while minimising the need for additional posts.

A formal consultation stage will follow (likely to be early part of 2024) and I would recommend that all interested parties attend the parish council meeting should they have any comments to raise. The next meeting is 8th January 24.
